By car

No matter where you come from...

In winter, the way to Ischgl always goes via the S16, where you take the exit Pians/Paznaun/Ischgl and afterwards follow the B188 (Silvretta Bundesstraße) until you reach Ischgl. From there, you have to follow the main road until exit E1 (BP petrol station), where you drive into the village. Follow the road to the car park (or supermarket) and turn left there. At the town hall, you have turn right and immediately afterwards left. Drive past the telephone boxes on your right hand side. At the Hotel Garni Valülla, you have to take the street on the right side (Hotel Garni Bellevue). Follow the street and after about 100m you will reach the Hotel Val Sinestra on the right side.

Tip: From the car park onwards, you can follow the green signs.

By public transport

You can easily and environmentally friendly get to our hotel by public transport: We recommend taking the train to the station Landeck-Zams and then the bus number 4240 in direction of Galtür/Wirl/Birkhahnbahn (leaves directly in front of the train station). The bus stop is called Ischgl Mehrzweckhaus. It is about 500m away from the hotel Val Sinestra.

Tip: Inform yourself about the winter sport combined ticket of the ÖBB.

Arrival by taxi

When you travel to Innsbruck by plane, taking a taxi is a good possibility for getting to Ischgl. We recommend:

Useful information

A tax sticker (vignette) is required for Austrian motorways and freeways. The vignette is available for 10 days, 2 months or the entire year and can be purchased at kiosks and petrol stations (also in neighbouring countries). You have to pay an additional toll for the Arlbertunnel (in case you arrive via the S16 from the west).

Ischgl is located in the middle of the Alps. Please make sure that your car is equipped to deal with winter conditions; in case of bad weather you might even need snow chains.

The Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße is closed in winter!
